Job Duties and Responsibilities:

In this hands-on role,you will be heavily involved in various maintenance projects that will befocused on improving our processes (safety, quality, productivity, cost) andmaintaining the facilities and grounds. The successful candidate must haveproven track record in managing, designing, installing and commissioningmulti-million-dollar investments and bringing them in at or below budget. Inaddition, you would be responsible for supporting numerous safety,environmental and continuous improvement projects along with overseeingcontractors in maintaining our facilities.?

  • Executesthe plant maintenance program for assigned shift based on best practices in theforging industry, with an emphasis on planning/scheduling, FMEA, RCFA, andpreventive/predictive maintenance.
  • Monitorsthe use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment andinitiates reordering when necessary; ensures that maintainers follow purchasingprocedures and coordinates material requirements to support on-going and futuremaintenance actions.
  • Maintainsand repairs maintenance shop equipment; informs Maintenance and FacilitiesManager of asset status to assure Departmental Capability is known at alltimes.
  • Responsiblefor maintaining a computerized maintenance management system for tracking workorders, spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment. Trainssubordinates in the effective use of the system and ensures workers use thesystem for tracking work orders, PM?s and hours of work.
  • Preparesreports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for improving plant
  • operationsand solving maintenance-related problems.
  • Communicatesregularly with all maintenance technicians, both individually and as a group,to ensure good two-way communication concerning maintenance issues.
  • Maintainsand updates operating and training manuals for the maintenance department andassists in the development of procedures where gaps exist.
  • Reviewsthe operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanneddowntime, anticipates and solves problems proactively in a timely manner, andidentifies opportunities for improvement.
  • AssistsFacilities and Maintenance Manager in coordinating the day to day actionsrequired to carry out project implementations that improve efficiency and/orreduce operating costs.
  • Tracks,analyzes and improves key maintenance parameters such as asset utilization,maintenance cost, PM compliance, schedule compliance, etc for assigned shift.
  • Maintainssafety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Ensurescity, county, state, and federal regulations relating to the maintenancedepartment are always met.
  • Developsproject listing for assigned area, prepares project scoping document, oversees/ completes design elements, and executes capex projects.
  • Performsall other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor?sDegree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Employeesmust be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification ofemployment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorshipis not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor?sor Master?s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 3 years of Experience in Facilities Engineering role in a large industrialmanufacturing facility.
  • CapitalProject Management experience.
  • DesignExperience with AutoCAD and Inventor Software.
  • Experiencewith procurement and contract negotiation
  • Reliabilitycentered maintenance experience

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
