Instrumentation Tech

Tests, calibrates, repairs cleans, and manages inventory of measurement tools/gages across the plant (CMM, MS, Die Shop), as well as provide training on the proper use (handling, maintenance & storage) of these tools, and applies periodically gage measurement tests.

Manages calibration cycles
Periodically inspects, tests, and cleans gages
Analyzes malfunctions of gages, and determines necessary steps to repair equipment.
Manages accurate inventory on hand across all areas of the plant to mitigate ?losses? of instruments, as well as maintains adequate inventory levels to reduce wasted time looking for tools.?
Write reqs as needed to acquire new gages, and/or send out for repair, if repair cannot be done in house.
Delivers classes for new hires and/or current employees on how to properly use, handle, store, and maintain gages, as well as applies gage measurements tests.
Records calibration information and prepares written reports.
Maintains records of calibration, tests, inventory or inspection, as required.
Sets up, operates, troubleshoots and maintains testing equipment.
Provides training and assessment periodically
Performs and documents a variety of preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair duties for equipment.
Writes reqs for purchasing or repair of gages
Complies with all EHS rules required for the work environment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Flexibility to shift schedule to cover all 4 shifts as need

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications :
?High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution

?Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.


Preferred Qualifications :
?Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution

?Minimum of one year experience using calibration?tools


 

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
