0 Midway, GA Midway, GA Full-time Full-time $15 - $20 an hour $15 - $20 an hour 7 days ago 7 days ago 7 days ago Duties - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Take and develop dental x-rays - Prepare and maintain dental materials, such as composite fillings and impression materials - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices - Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records - Get patients back on time - Take adequate notes per patient appointment Skills - Proficient in HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality - Knowledge of medical terminology related to dental procedures and conditions - Experience in dental assisting techniques, including chairside assistance and four-handed dentistry - Understanding of infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment - Ability to assess patients' oral health conditions and provide appropriate care - Knowledge of human anatomy relevant to dental procedures - Familiarity with medical records management, including documentation and recordkeeping - Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software for creating dental restorations - Understanding of medical coding systems for accurate billing and insurance claims processing - Familiarity with medical imaging techniques used in dentistry Note:
